Brazilian striker Rodrygo Goes is clearly not part of the plans of Xabi Alonso, the new Real Madrid coach. The Brazilian, lacking playing time, is reportedly looking for a way out of the Casa Blanca this summer.
According to Mario Cortegana, a journalist closely involved in the Rodrygo Goes affair, Real Madrid and Xabi Alonso will not rule out Rodrygo’s departure this summer, provided a satisfactory offer is submitted.
The club has reportedly expressed concerns about Rodrygo’s lack of motivation in training, which has reportedly led to an agreement between Carlo Ancelotti and the player not to call him up for Brazil during the recent international breaks.
For his part, Rodrygo’s father has publicly complained about his son’s situation, explaining that he is sometimes benched due to fierce competition from Mbappé, Vinícius, and Bellingham. This departure has not been welcomed at all at various levels of the club.
These statements, combined with the player’s disappointing performances in recent months, have reinforced the belief within the club that a transfer might be the best solution for all parties.
